today i went to visit Darling Harbour in the daytime with my new friend Rafiq. we also went to the Casino, which was huge! we played 5 ADs and won 10 ADs, so it was worth the trip i could say. it would've been nice to take some pics there but it wasn't allowed so.. here's some pictures from Darling Harbour anyway:

My name is Bondi, James Bondi.

On Tuesday we were in Bondi, 'cause it was super hot! It's been +35 in here so can't really complain.. Other than that, the job hunt is still on. So thumbs up everyone!

But here's some pictures from sunny Sydney:

Take care everyone!

So last Wednesday we did our R(esponsible)S(ervice of)A(lcohol)'s. The training lasted for almost six hours and after that we had our final test. It felt like a waste of money since no one in here obeys the law, but without it it's impossible to get job in any restaurant etc. Now we're just trying to find jobs and apartment for us. Real estate is super expensive, but hopefully we'll find something!

Otherwise everything's okay. We're staying in the same hostel in Kings Cross. We have really nice room mates from England and Scotland so it's always a blast when we're together! The weather is sunny and still around 25 degrees.

First two nights we stayed in Kings Cross area. Our hostel, Travellers Rest, was located right in the heart of Kings X so only couple of minutes walk away from ..well almost everything! We had some really nice room mates, two guys from Sweden. And actually everyone in here has been really friendly! We went out both on friday & saturday and met more nice people, this time australian from Adelaide.

On sunday we moved to Bondi Beach. We had quite a few problems with the hostel, but then ended up sleeping nicely in our own room. Bondi was beautiful, of course, but we found the people somewhat snobish and the place was more expensive than Kings X so yesterday we came back to X.

Yesterday we walked in the Sydney centre for almost six hours so our legs were hurting quite a bit, but it was definitely worth it! We also went to see the Opera House, which was beautiful. It was suuuuper windy outside but still very warm ..like 26 degrees or something.

Hope that you're all well in Finland! ..and not freezing ;) xxxx
